Who we are

More About Us

The Cooperative produces both Arabica and Robusta Coffees on well distributed fertile volcanic hills and sharp valleys where farmer members derive their livelihood.

At the moment the Cooperative has a total productive area of 442 hectares for both Arabica & Robusta at an average yield of 1,100 kilograms per hectare annually and a production capacity of 486,200 kilograms (green bean).

The Cooperative is currently pursuing Organic and Fairtrade certifications

Altitude: 1300 – 1700M above sea level

Annual rainfall: 1500 – 200MM with the Temperatures ranging from 12.5 to 30 annually.

Region: Ankole Sub region, South Western Uganda

Harvest Period: Main season; September – December and Fly crop is for February – June

Our focus is to export to different markets and our  samples have exhibited good parameters in terms of cupping scores, ranging from 85 – 89%.

Why we take strong interest in Coffee Quality Improvement

Coffee is the main source of livelihood for our members, improved coffee quality leads to increased earnings for our farmers.

Increased earnings from good quality coffee motivate farmers to adopt good agronomic practices and also enable the cooperative to provide more coffee extension services and inputs to farmers at subsidized prices.
